Peer Review Policy

The International Journal of Maps in Mathematics uses a single-anonymous (single-blind) peer-review process. Reviewers have access to the authors’ names and affiliations, while reviewers’ identities are not disclosed to the authors.

Reviewers assess manuscripts for originality, mathematical correctness, clarity, and relevance to the journal’s scope. Reviewer reports are shared with the authors after removing any information that could reveal the reviewers’ identities. Confidential comments intended solely for the editors are not shared with the authors.

Unpublished manuscripts and information relating to the review process are shared only with authorised editorial personnel, assigned reviewers, and authors as appropriate to their roles. They are not made publicly available. Final publication decisions are made by the editors, taking the reviewers’ recommendations into account.
